“Work in our lab lies at the interface of development and evolution. We are particularly interested in how organisms generate complexity and how mechanisms used in that process evolve. We integrate experimental and computer modeling approaches in a number of emerging invertebrate model systems with a goal of understanding the genetic basis and evolutionary origins of morphological diversity. “
